| This clip shows Lonesome Peps Dude after some 25 days in training. It was filmed in July, 2006 when the mare was 3 years old. She moves well off the leg and voice cues, with an easy lope and stop. She does the side-pass and turn on the forehand, and has a nice start on her spins. This mare has lovely action and likes to move out, but goes very collected. |
Lonesome Peps Dude stands approximately 15.1 hands tall. She is elegant and balanced, is correct in the feet & legs, with a beautiful head. As a 3 year old, in the summer of 2006, she went off for a training session for 30 days with Roger Johnson. She has been ridden inside and out - she is calm and steady with no "bad habits" but also has some ambition under saddle. She is being ridden with a ring snaffle bit and German martingale in these videos. With Ole Cuda Bar on the top side and back to Peppy San on the bottom side, this mare would be a valuable addition to the broodmare band as well as an excellent riding horse.
